ASSEN RACE 1: P 15
La prima gara ad Assen è terminata in quindicesima posizione per il team Motocorsa e Ryan Vickers, aggiudicandosi un altro punto. Nonostante la giornata del venerdì con qualche difficoltà, il team e il pilota sono riusciti a trovare la quadra migliorando.
Ryan Vickers:
“In generale, nelle qualifiche di questa mattina siamo andati molto più veloci rispetto a ieri, abbiamo usato solo una gomma perché abbiamo cambiato spesso la moto per cercare di trovare una direzione. Abbiamo fatto una gara decente, partire 21° in griglia e finire in quindicesima posizione non è male. Il nostro ritmo era abbastanza buono. Abbiamo ancora alcune aree da migliorare, ma abbiamo un’idea più chiara. La squadra sta lavorando duramente, quindi continuiamo a impegnarci e a tenere la testa bassa e speriamo di poter migliorare”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Prima gara qui ad Assen, sono contento dello step che abbiamo fatto con la moto. Ryan ha detto che il feeling sta migliorando. Il passo da metà gara in poi è stato buono, dobbiamo migliorare nei primi dieci giri, in cui gli altri sfruttano meglio la gomma nuova, qui abbiamo un gap molto elevato. Il distacco si è ridotto da metà gara in poi. Lavoreremo ancora fino a domani mattina per fare un altro piccolo passo in avanti, per prepararci alla Superpole Race e alla gara lunga di domani pomeriggio”
MOTOCORSA RACING AND RYAN VICKERS IMPROVED IN RACE 1!
ASSEN RACE 1: P 15
The first race at Assen ended in fifteenth position for the Motocorsa team and Ryan Vickers, taking another point. Despite a difficult day on Friday, the team and rider managed to find the right balance by improving.
Ryan Vickers:
“In general, we went much faster in qualifying this morning than yesterday, we only used one tyre because we changed the bike a lot to try and find a direction. We had a decent race, starting 21st on the grid and finishing 15th is not bad. Our pace was pretty good. We still have some areas to improve, but we have a clearer idea. The team is working hard, so let’s keep working hard and keep our heads down and hopefully we can improve.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“First race here at Assen, I am happy with the step we have made with the bike. Ryan said the feeling is improving. The pace from the middle of the race onwards was good, we have to improve in the first ten laps, where the others make better use of the new tyre, here we have a very big gap. The gap has narrowed from the middle of the race onwards. We will work again until tomorrow morning to take another small step forward, to prepare for the Superpole Race and the long race tomorrow afternoon.”
