ASSEN SUPERPOLE RACE: P 10 RACE 2: P 18
Weekend olandese terminato. Motocorsa e Ryan Vickers chiudono la Superpole Race della mattina in decima posizione, quindi in top ten e Gara 2 in diciannovesima. Passi in avanti per il team lombardo, che ha iniziato il fine settimana sul circuito di Assen in salita, ma che con impegno e duro lavoro è riuscito ad ottenere delle belle soddisfazioni.
Ryan Vickers:
“Devo essere contento di questo weekend qui ad Assen, a dire il vero pensavo sarebbe stato più facile perché questa è una pista su cui già avevo corso sei anni fa. Il livello in Superbike è veramente alto e tutti i piloti sono molto competitivi e super veloci. Abbiamo fatto un ottimo lavoro nella Superpole Race oggi, partendo ventunesimi e chiudendo in P10 sul bagnato! Abbiamo fatto dei grandi passi avanti anche in Gara 2, nonostante il risultato non renda giustizia, però sono davvero molto contento e continueremo a progredire.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Abbiamo chiuso questo weekend in diciannovesima posizione, ma abbiamo fatto sicuramente un passo avanti. Da 42” di distacco in Gara 1, siamo scesi a 29” in Gara 2. I tempi sul giro sono migliorati notevolmente e per arrivare nel gruppo tra il decimo e il quindicesimo, ci manca fare una qualifica un po’ più aggressiva. Stiamo costruendo un percorso con Vickers di miglioramento a ogni weekend di gara e lo stiamo ottenendo. Secondo le mie previsioni prima della fine dell’anno arriveremo nella top ten lottando con i migliori. Quindi continueremo a lavorare e a crescere con il pilota gara dopo gara, per trovare tutto ciò che serve a Ryan. Siamo veramente contenti del lavoro svolto.”

Dutch weekend over. Motocorsa and Ryan Vickers closed the morning Superpole Race in tenth position, then in the top ten and Race 2 in nineteenth. Steps forward for the Lombardy team, which started the weekend at the Assen circuit on an uphill slope, but with commitment and hard work managed to achieve some good results.
Ryan Vickers:
“I have to be happy with this weekend here at Assen, I actually thought it would be easier because this is a track I had already raced on six years ago. The level in Superbike is really high and all the riders are very competitive and super fast. We did a great job in the Superpole Race today, starting 21st and finishing P10 in the wet! We also made great strides in Race 2, although the result doesn’t do it justice, but I’m really very happy and we will continue to progress.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“We finished this weekend in 19th position, but we definitely took a step forward. From a 42‘ gap in Race 1, we dropped to 29’ in Race 2. Lap times have improved dramatically and to finish in the tenth to fifteenth group, we need to qualify a little more aggressively. We are building a path with Vickers of improvement every race weekend and we are getting it. My prediction is that before the end of the year we will be in the top ten fighting with the best. So we will continue to work and grow with the driver race after race to find everything Ryan needs. We are really happy with the work we have done.”
