Portimao SUPERPOLE RACE: P 19 RACE 2: P 14
Si conclude il fine settimana sul circuito portoghese di nuovo a punti per il team Motocorsa Racing e Ryan Vickers, in quattordicesima posizione in gara 2.Nonostante i dolori dopo l’infortunio del sabato mattina durante le Fp3 il pilota britannico ha dimostrato di avere il potenziale per stare nella griglia del campionato del mondo Superbike, migliorando sempre di più le sue prestazioni.Il prossimo appuntamento sarà ad Assen in Olanda, pista già conosciuta da Vickers.
Ryan Vickers:
“Sono molto contento. Sembra che abbiamo sfortuna durante le FP3, però sono molto felice nonostante sia stato molto difficile a causa dell’infortunio. Ci siamo attenuti al nostro piano e lo abbiamo portato a termine e in gara 2 abbiamo fatto un grande passo in avanti con la moto. Ho ancora alcuni punti da migliorare ma comunque sono soddisfatto di come sia andato il weekend e di come abbiamo finito l’ultima gara. Siamo andati di nuovo a punti e ringrazio il team per tutto il lavoro svolto questo fine settimana. Non vedo l’ora di andare ad Assen, una pista che mi è più familiare e leggermente meno tecnica rispetto a Portimao.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Weekend di Portimao finito. Voglio ringraziare tutta la squadra per il lavoro svolto, soprattutto per aver ricostruito la moto dopo la rovinosa caduta delle Fp3 di sabato mattina. Un ringraziamento particolare ai tecnici e al pilota che con tenacia, dolorante, è riuscito ad arrivare al traguardo in quattordicesima posizione, abbassando i tempi sul giro e migliorando le prestazioni in gara 2. Questo ci da un buon segnale per le prossime gare. Siamo tutti positivi per continuare a crescere con Ryan e il team Motocorsa Racing.”
MOTOCORSA AND RYAN VICKERS AGAIN IN THE POINTS AT PORTIMAO

The weekend at the Portuguese circuit ended in points again for the Motocorsa Racing team and Ryan Vickers, in fourteenth position in race 2.
Despite the pain after Saturday morning’s injury during FP3 the British rider showed he has the potential to be on the Superbike World Championship grid, improving his performance all the time.
The next round will be at Assen, a track with which Vickers is already familiar.
Ryan Vickers:
“I am very happy. We seemed to have bad luck during FP3, but I am very happy despite the fact that it was very difficult because of the injury. We stuck to our plan and completed it and in race 2 we made a big step forward with the bike. I still have some points to improve on but anyway I am happy with how the weekend went and how we finished the last race. We got in the points again and I thank the team for all their work this weekend. I am looking forward to Assen, a track that is more familiar to me and slightly less technical than Portimao.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Portimao weekend over. I want to thank the whole team for their work, especially for rebuilding the bike after the disastrous crash in FP3 on Saturday morning. A special thanks to the technicians and to the rider who with tenacity, in pain, managed to arrive at the finish line in fourteenth position, lowering his lap times and improving his performance in race 2. This gives us a good sign for the next races. We are all positive about continuing to grow with Ryan and the Motocorsa Racing team.”
