Portimao RACE 1: P 16
Gara 1 del sabato di Portimao conclusa in sedicesima posizione per il pilota Ryan Vickers e il team Motococrsa Racing, dopo una caduta impegnativa durante la mattina, che ha causato molto dolore fisico e compromesso la performance del britannico. Vickers ha lottato fino all’ultimo giro per riuscire a stare vicino alla zona punti.
Ryan Vickers:
“Durante le FP3 ho fatto una brutta caduta che sicuramente ha compromesso la gara di questo pomeriggio. Sto cercando di lavorare sulla moto per trovare la giusta quadra. Nonostante i dolori la gara non è andata male, ho lottato molto per riuscire a guidare bene. Sicuramente ho bisogno di lavorare anche molto sulla moto per poter migliorare e fare dei progressi insieme al team in vista delle due gare di domani”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Questa gara uno di Portimao si è subito presentata difficile dalle condizioni del pilota dopo la brutta caduta delle Fp3 di stamattina. Ryan era molto dolorante e lo ringraziamo per aver finito la gara ed essere arrivato vicino alla zona punti. Speriamo che domani stia un po’ meglio per riuscire ad avere meno dolore fisico per guadagnare qualche posizione nelle due gare di domani”

Race 1 on Saturday at Portimao ended in sixteenth position for rider Ryan Vickers and the Motococrsa Racing team, after a hard crash during the morning, which caused a lot of physical pain and compromised the British rider’s performance. Vickers fought until the last lap to stay close to the points zone.
Ryan Vickers:
“During FP3 I had a bad crash that definitely compromised this afternoon’s race. I’m trying to work on the bike to find the right balance. Despite the pain the race wasn’t bad, I fought a lot to be able to ride well. For sure I also need to work a lot on the bike to be able to improve and make progress together with the team ahead of tomorrow’s two races.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“This race one at Portimao was immediately difficult due to the condition of the rider after the bad crash in Fp3 this morning. Ryan was very sore and we thank him for finishing the race and getting close to the points zone. Hopefully he will be a little better tomorrow so that he will have less physical pain to gain some positions in tomorrow’s two races.”
